Georgian Mahogany wine cooler

A gorgeous mahogany brass bound wine cooler circa 1860

A hinged octagonal brass bound box  would originally have been lead lined to keep the bottles cool , still has the bottle holders and plug at the base to drain the melted ice. The books is on four elegant legs with grass castors at the base. A rare which is decorative but still useful.
